In a 1986
Teddy Ruxpin toy commercial, Teddy says...
"We're going to have lots of good times together."
That's
certainly been true.
The highlight of this project, which I started nearly 13 years ago at
the age of 14... (wow, I feel old) has been meeting and/or
corresponding with the wonderful people who made The World of Teddy
Ruxpin possible, including the creator, voice actors, artists
and last but not least, Teddy's wonderful fans. Linked below
are interviews with several of them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I
did.
Please
note these Interviews are (C) Teddy Ruxpin Online.
They may not be published elsewhere without written
Permission of Teddy Ruxpin Online.
KEN FORSSE INTERVIEW
In
the fall of 1999 a lifelong dream came true (as good dreams do)
and I got in contact with my lifelong hero, Ken Forsse. This interview
is very in depth and worth the read. It gave us some insight into
Teddy's history and his creator.
PHIL BARON INTERVIEW
Conducted in the
fall of 2007, Phil opens up about how he became Teddy's voice and his
thoughts about the character. It was very cool getting to know Teddy's
very talented voice.
JEFF
WILSON INTERVIEW
This is the first
interview I conducetd for the site, back in the Summer of 1999. Jeff
was a Key Animator on
The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin
and gave us insight into the show's production.
BRIAN
LEMAY INTERVIEW
Conducted in the summer
of 2006, Brian was one of the Animation Supervisors on The Adventures
of Teddy Ruxpin and offered not only previously unknown information,
but a lot of cool stories about the people involved in the show and the
production. 3 pages long and worth the read.
MAGGIE
PARR INTERVIEW
Conducted in 2006.
Maggie is the artist commissioned for new art on the BackPack Toys'
Teddy Ruxpin and has worked with AlchemyII at different times over the
past 15 years working on Teddy's artwork.
